2008 Supremecy
Winemaker's Tasting Notes:
Clime through the layers of the varietals to find something special. The Cabernet Sauvignon provides the backbone with is nice black cherry black berry fruit components, while the Merlot's bright acidity helps elevate complexity. Petit Verdot helps the wine pass along the mid-palate with a nice layer of cocoa and plum. The Malbec's sharp red fruit, and the herbaceous earthy components provided by the Cabernet Franc complete this wine with harmonious balance. The wines work well together and play off each other as well as I had hoped. It was not my intent to make this our biggest wine, rather our most interesting and complex.
