From vintage to vintage the Fraser Howard Chardonnay represents the more full-bodied expression of our two varietal offerings. Winemakers Collin & Craig uses restraint when crafting this lot capturing both the rich body that we have come to know and love about Chard and a particular freshness as well. The goal is to capture a style that is age-worthy and truly represents the best of California style Chardonnay. Aromatically this wine offers notes of pineapple, banana, sweet cinnamon. The palate is elevated with hints of white peach, honeysuckle, and a long finish that reminds you of the best Madagascar vanilla bean paste you have ever had.
Ripe aromatics include pineapple, honeysuckle, sweet baking spices. The full-bodied palate is held together with acid and a good dose of French oak. This is a true California summertime Chardonnay.
