Our BDX Blanc is produced as a counterpart to our 100% Sauvignon Blanc program. Sourcing Semillon from the Aguirre Vineyard, the wine undergoes partial malo-lactic conversion fermenting in barrels. Giving the base of the wine a rich, creamy texture. A portion of lean, clean, stainless steel fermented Sauvignon Blanc is blended to drive nuance and higher tuned acidity. Giving the wine drive that lends itself to the tropical notes in the Semillon pop aromatically and on the palate.
Citrus leads the nose aromatically followed by a hint of herbaceousness. Good weight on the palate followed by vibrant acidity and notes of pink grapefruit and honeydew leave you with a long finish.
