We have found a gem in Mogambo. Farmed by Doug Hill and the Oak Knoll team, the fruit is rich, and dense and shows the classic bark berry fruits with meaty, gamey undertones we love about Syrah.  The use of whole clusters gives us a bit of tension while warm fermentation drives richness in color and mouthfeel. The end result is a mouth-filling wine with fruit that pops in its youth and classic meaty secondaries that will reveal themselves with aging.
